Christian Gaillard was born in Avignon, France, in 1951, now lives and works between Paris and his home - studio in the South of France. After receiving a diploma of the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, began his career as an illustrator for the most prestigious advertising agencies in France. In 1982, he was voted Illustrator of the Year by the Academy of Graphic Design.
